One More Victory,One More Step!!

The Victory of the Scottish National Party on the 3^rd of May 2007 has to be seen as a major step forward in our goal of an Independent Scotland,but it is also a landmark in the British Constitutional System as the day British Labour not only lost it’s first election in Scotland for 50 years but it also lost control of the Scottish Parliament to the S.N.P,a party that will put Scotland’s interests first.For the first time in 300 years we now have a leadership that has no masters pulling the strings of control from Westminster and subverting the will of the Scottish people and destroying our National interests and aspirations.

For the first time since the act of Dis-Union in 1707 we now have a real chance to show the rest of the world just what we can achieve when we have at least marginal control and powers in our own hands.

But Let there be no illusions that the road to Liberation will be easy,nor will it be made easier by the assorted bands of Brits and Unionists who will seek to undermine our future progress in any way they can.And do not be surprised if we face subversive elements from within Scotland and abroad with England and beyond.

As there is no precedent as to what can or will happen in the future political situation of Scotland we all have to keep an open mind. But I for one will be watching out for black operations from the Brits in Westminster.

We have the chance to take a progressive step forward in Scotland with a new type of consensus politics never seen before in the Scottish Parliament,of course we would like to have seen the S.N.P win a controlling majority in the Parliament but as the present system of proportional representation guarantees that no one party will ever have total control we will have to watch closely what ensues.

The fact that minority Governments tend not to last a whole term should not mean that we in Scotland cannot break the mould and continue through a full term in office.

We have the oppertunity for all of us ,not just the politico’s but every citizen to make this work for Scotland’s future.

Yes,we should expect the people of Scotland to be wary of an S.N.P Government after all the negativity and doom and gloom scenarios that were predicted by Scotland’s Enemies,but I think that when the sky does not fall on our heads and the seven plagues of Egypt fail to appear then we can all move forward in a calm and collected manner.

The way that the Brit/Unionists portrayed Scotland and it’s people as some sort of provincial backwater and that somehow we are incapable of doing things for ourselves smacked of elitist condescention that was almost beyond belief,let us all remember what has gone before and hold those responsible to account for their insulting and hysterical rantings

Treachery,Treason and sedition seem to be the tools of all Brit/Unionists who engage in their Anti-Scottish/Scotophobic attitudes and activities,now the time is here when we all have to declare what we are ie: Scot or Brit ,for one simply cannot be both,the time of schizophrenic dual Nationality dis-orders is now over and the fence sitters will have to declare what they are and where their loyalties lie for one cannot be both.
