Interested observers will no doubt have noticed that there have been many 'resistance groups' within Scotland before now, and all of them have failed to get beyond the initial stages of really effective pro-independence activities! These failures can be traced back to a number of faults, which we can put under one heading; Lack of preparation.

Choose any name you like, from a depressingly long list, and you will find that none have ever given any thought whatever to continuity, longevity, and future leadership! In short, as soon as the enemy identifies the main players in any particular group, that group will soon cease to exist. The enemy's success in locating these key people stems largely from the fact that most 'Scots activists' almost entirely lack the operational and organisational skills required to work in secret. These are some of the failings that we intend to rectify.

Scottish Patriots advice on how volunteers should conduct themselves during the initial stages of propaganda working will stand them in good stead, if those volunteers have paid heed to that advice! It is essential that anyone who wants to engage in the struggle to regain our country's sovereignty masters the self-discipline required to participate in prolonged clandestine activity. Without such discipline and experience they are unlikely to survive for long! As has been previously stated, Scottish Patriots will do all that they can to assist anyone wishing to travel along this road. We have practiced all that we have preached here, (and much more besides) whilst others endlessly theorise!
